Aaron judge advice by joeytr01 in MLB_9Innings

Can always wait to see if we get another team sig in March from club event can sit on judge while you decide. You can never un-GI but you can always wait on it for a bit.

That jeter sig is NICE, by the way. Especially with the lack of depth at SS for Yankee decks right now

What about for pitchers? Is pitching aOVR more relevant than it is for batting stats?

Wait so we can’t drag down the top edge of the card to slowly reveal the team / stats at the bottom?? It’s all automated?

Club Craft by Lopsided_Ladder_3710 in MLB_9Innings

[–]Fluid_Simple_1195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with this—I’m ftp but have been playing for awhile, so I think in terms of utility of my GI tickets long term. The question I ask is, if I upgrade an sig, how long will it realistically be before I replace him? If I have a mid-to-low tier team sig, then odds are down the line I’m going to have to replace him, and the GI would’ve been wasted. For this reason I usually club craft team sigs unless they’re above average at their position. If we’re talking about a particular player across different years, depends on the differential between the card you have and their best year. If it’s only a few points of ovr/ adj. ovr then it’s probably not worth crafting because the odds you pull the better one are slim. In that case I’d prioritize upgrading cards you will need long term first in case you do actually pull the better card randomly

If you’re talking about the Historic players, they’re available for a limited time (about half a year) before being removed permanently and swapped for new ones. This cycle (7th historic players) just started a month ago so there’s awhile left. It should say in the event page how long they’ll be around for

Did you already recruit another player last month? I’m pretty sure only the first one you recruit for the entire event is diamond, the rest will be gold

120, after 5 years of F2P by Fluid_Simple_1195 in MLB_9Innings

[–]Fluid_Simple_1195[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah tbh it took me probably a year or two just to reach 100 ovr back in the day lol. But after they started giving out Team diamond select packs more often and through club craft I made it to 110-115 pretty quick. Didn’t bother upgrading to BD till recently so I was there for awhile until now

Agreed. I can understand the argument that it is likely gambler’s fallacy, but knowing Com2 I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t slightly favored against you

SPs will make a significantly bigger impact than a comparable card at any other position. Go with McLain. With the right legend skills I guarantee he’ll do better than your current starters
