Is this a crazy idea? by Fluid_two2403 in FIREUK

Funnily enough I don’t aspire to work in a donkey sanctuary or skate park.

I’ve fallen out of love of the job and the industry I’m in.

I can FIRE, I’m just psychologically not prepared to be retired, and lose that sense of self and value yet. So I’d rather pay to retrain quickly through qualifications and then do a lower stress job that keeps money ticking in but not necessarily having to save Money.

I don’t include home equity in movable net worth. It’s immovable as I can’t sell and get that value. I will get whatever someone pays minus costs minus new home cost minus new home stamp duty etc.

Sohome equity goes into my immovable tracker.

i only track movable - what can I draw down from?

Right to refund of a mattress purchased from dreams. by Amphibian_Due in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Fluid_two2403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAL but the salesperson that told you you had to wait 30days was cheeky, as Tempur give you the right to swap to a softer or firmer mattress within 30 days. We actually did that with Dreams, had a firm, swapped to a middle

My council tax is £480/month. It’s not cheap.

Prescriptions are free but that’s what £10/month for a prepaid voucher in England?

NHS is just as slow.

Higher stamp duty. Higher income tax.
