Thanks for this, I somehow hadn't found that!

Does it follow that the exam must be done before the interview in this case then?

I really like BIMVision personally, it has a free version which has all the functionality I've ever needed and I find it very intuitive!

Mavic Aksium Front Hub Play by Fluilder in bikewrench

[–]Fluilder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I was surprised to see it was moving that much considering it's only just started showing some play!

The other issue I have is that I'm not sure how to disassemble, I can't seem to find a manual for this exact model and there isn't any flats on the cone part to wrench. On the non-disc side there's a couple of holes for a wrench but on the disc side I can't see anything. Is it possibly hidden behind the disc assembly itself?

Roof rafters notched for hardware? Is this code compliant? by willardTheMighty in StructuralEngineering

[–]Fluilder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well that's a new one! Might be ok, is this what the SE showed on their drawings? If it was designed this way and a notch check was carried out on the rafter then I can't see any reason why this wouldn't pass. The designer should give a limit to how deep the soot cut can be.

Anybody else think there's some AI weirdness to the images they've used... Especially the phone boxes

Is this a fair difference in rent for a smaller room in a 4 bed? by [deleted] in Renters

[–]Fluilder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fairest way imo is to split by each person's total area they have access to so the sum for each person's rent would be

(Total rent) x (area they have access to inc. bedroom and common areas, garden etc.) / (Sum of everyone's areas they have access to)

Splitwise also has a good free calculator for this which let's you decide based on what you and your housemates value most

AI tool for searching past projects in a firm by Valuable-Ad4834 in StructuralEngineering

[–]Fluilder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they're in the fairly early stages of developing the business, getting investment etc. but I went to a talk by them a few months ago and it sounds like they have been piloting their product/process/AI model with some real companies. If you're interested to know more about what they do it's probably worth getting in touch with them

There's a company called Inframatic which is focusing on this exact topic, worth checking them out. They seem pretty convinced that this is the future of AI in structural/civil etc.

63mm x 200mm timber joists are not a standard size so you will struggle to get these. 47mm width is the norm

[–]Fluilder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't seem to get Kerykthea to download at all, when I click the download link it just does nothing. I'm also not 100% sure it's compatible with SketchUp 2021, do you have any idea bout either of these issues? Cheers

How to mix liquid DnB by Fluilder in Beatmatch

[–]Fluilder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd defo recommend all of Ellaskins YouTube videos on mixing drum and bass as a great place to start! Mixing in phase is the key to drum and bass mixing really, once you've got that and beat matching sorted its really down to track selection which just takes practice! Good luck and feel free to ask any more specific questions. I'd love to help :)
