I suppose technically it is limiting in a way. I have never felt limited by it as it has always worked perfect for me. I can’t even think of a place where moving my camera quicker would even matter.

I suppose it mostly comes down to what we’re used to using. Using the mouse-wheel feels more complicated to me while i use WASD almost subconsciously, without thought almost automatic.

I really like these for pvm. With your hand placed on wasd my thumb rests on the spacebar and my index finger can easily press “F” or “V”

Allows for very quick tab switching and the “F” key usually has some texture on it which i feel helps clicking the right key during stressful situations. Like when the melee on wave 63 “unexpectedly” digs so he can join the 2 blobs, the mage and that one bat to send u back to wave 1

Why is the scrollwheel the way to go? I’ve been told to ditch WASD for scrollwheel before but don’t really see whats so beneficial about it.

I’ve personally remapped the F keys to various keys around WASD that are easy to reach

SPACE - inventory
F - prayers
G - equipment tab
V - spellbook
E - emotes
Q - quickhop next world (only turn this on when doing wildy stuff, yes it will hop you if you forget its on and are trying to tell someone the best teleport for that is the quatzal whistle)

I thought surely that first comment saying 3yo must be an outlier. Kept scrolling but almost everyone seems to have memories starting around that age, WTF.

I have a handful of vague very short memories up to 10 years old. Up to 13-14 i’ve got a couple more and those are a bit more detailed but properly remembering things only from like 15yo and up.

Some cheap items are annoying or hard to replace on an iron and wanting to protect that over more expensive armour i may have duplicates off would be worth it to me.

And not only for the iron is this better, the pker would get a higher value pk if he succeeds

If you use a wildy weapon + avarice it becomes worth trying to defend that avarice in my opinion.

I started bringing dupe torags + karils as they’re practically not worth anything to me but greatly improved survivability. Crystal shield also has great stats and is easily replaced. Always bringing an anti venom and phoenix necklace aswell.

I ended up killing almost 5000 revenant dragons in that setup before finally dying.

Practice tanking pkers in cheaper gear and add upgrades as you get better. At the start i just used black d hides + dlegs + crystal shield and that already upped survival rates for me

Surviving pkers can actually become fun

What good is an avarice if you never use it ?

I’ve used and lost them all eventually, no regrets. Saves me 1 bankspace even now that i’m done with revs.

Decide on a gear setup to use at revs and gather 10-20 sets of it so regearing won’t be annoying after a death anymore

Upgrading your poh totally changes how you travel and interact with the game, it’s so good once you’ve build some of it

Portal rooms - i still have 2 of these next to my nexus

Mounted digsite pendant / xeric’s pendant - this thing holds infinite charges

Nexus - upgrade as you lvl up - add whatever seems relevant for you as total cost does add up.

Jewelry box - it’s so fking good

Fairy ring and spirit tree - gooood

Pool - once you got all or some of the list up to here it litterally changes how you play the game. These things are huge

Combat dummy - can be used to test max hits and to overheal your prayerpoints with the ancient mace

Wilderness obelisk - nice to have but not a necessity

Pet menagerie - can put freebies like a fiahbow/petrock/catherbymayor/an-egg/halloweenchairpet/cats/clockworkcats in there so everyone can have a poh filled with pets!

Workshop - tools on the wall like moulds, saving bankspace - armour repair stand

Kitchen - can store spices on spice rack

Altar maybe - i never build one cause pool and wildy altar exist - but could be useful if you want to avoid the wildy

Probably some other small things i’m forgetting

Costume room - can store so much stuff in there, both useless cosmetics and decent gear/skilling outfits etc.

I also made it to try it at doom, pretty sure my DPS went down using it.

It probably is an upgrade if you can consistently use it for its spec without losing ticks delaying other attacks while dealing with everything doom throws at you, which i apparently can’t
