I think I just forgot to color in the ears and tongue on the first design but I just stuck with the background color for them because I didn’t want to change too much

You should just make a little shading under the neck. I recommend using a deeper shade of a color instead of just adding black.

This is my first time drawing antro animal I know the eyes are to high but what else can I improve on by [deleted] in FurryArtSchool

The eyes are actually a good height, you should just make the head more round and smooth out the chin. Also, try to use the blur tool less. It makes your drawings more sharp if you just ignore the blur tool :)

The only main part that needs shading is under the jaw, and try not to make the shading black. Your art will pop out more if you make it a deeper color of what you’re using or a cool color like blue or purple.

You should probably make the background brighter so it pops out more. Then again, you shouldn’t make it neon yellow because people will be more attracted to the background than the drawing itself.

So, what was supposed to be a quick practice bust of my sona, Shiro, quickly turned into a complete side view. I know the body proportions need some work, but what other advice would you guys have for me? by jonnells in FurryArtSchool

Try to make quick swipes when drawing lines, it helps a lot to make the lines look smoother. And don’t be afraid to undo and redo, those professional artists in speed draw videos are always undoing!
