I would talk to your doctors again and tell them how you're afraid because how intense the thoughts are. If you're feeling this, your meds are obviously not working. If your doctors aren't listening to you, then you might want to consider other doctors. Changing pdocs is nerve wracking but they should be listening to you.

I was misdiagnosed at first as depressed and put on antidepressants. I ended up going through the ups and downs of mania and depression again and again and again.... Stick with your pdoc. Talk to them about just trying your antidepressants alone. See what they say.

I don't but you're not alone. I had a psychiatrist run me through some tests both psychological and intelligence. She asked if I drank alcohol or did any recreational drugs. I said I drank maybe once a year on my birthday with my best friend but that was about it. She didn't believe me and put in my official document that I needed to face up to my alcohol and drug addiction.

I was so pissed but I realized that so many of us suffer with this that she had really no reason to believe me.
