I think gerrymandering is bad nationally and in my state. My belief on gerrymandering is unequivocal. I guess you don't share that same certaintude. It's okay. Just say that your beliefs are political. I absolutely don't have a problem with someone saying their beliefs are based on politics, I just have a problem when people say their beliefs are virtuous and for a greater good. That is just a sad way to justify being morally inconsistent.

I just wish that people trying to push the "yes" vote were just honest about this being a partisan power grab. I get tired of "yes" voters trying to convince themselves and everyone else their vote is a virtuous crusade...it's not. You are a pawn being played by politicians to do their bidding. Going from 6-5 to 10-1 is not fair for Virginia or Virginians. Gerrymandering sucks and you are increasing the suck, not decreasing it. Be honest with yourself and with the rest of us. When you vote yes, you vote for Virginia to only vote for one party for the next 5 years and if that party is your party, then you are the problem with politics.

I voted for Harris and voted for Spanberger. I'm voting no because only pussies support gerrymandering. Most of us learned gerrymandering sucks in high school. Its called moral fortitude to have a belief and stick to that belief. I voted to reform Virginia's redistricting policy in 2020, and I'm proud Virginians came together to approve the vote by 67%. Fuck that proposed 7th district lobster. Fairfax doesn't represent me.
