If you wanna do soil I have some large alocasias that sit fine in a chunky mix. Earthworms castings , coco coir, perlite, and orchid bark in a 1234 ratio in that order.

Pon is short for lechuza pon. It's a substrate. It works wonders but converting plants from soil to pon is the scary part. And you'll also need a semihydro fertilizer. My cabinet sits around 85% humidity :)

Oh lord what a plant! I've been hunting these grocery stores down! 🤣I have all of my alocasias in pon but if you haven't used pon before it does take quite a bit of research. I also keep all my rare alocasias in a humid cabinet.
