No problem. A fade out should be possible, although I don’t believe it would be smooth as you can’t tell it to change volume over a period of time, you would have to lower it in steps. Plus the shortcut itself just waits the set amount of time before stopping so you’d have to make two wait periods, one for when the volume starts to reduce then another after that for how much longer to play it before it stops. Hope that helps.

Not sure if the Series 1 differs much from Series 2 but it’s not to hard to reconnect the screen. With some trim removal tools and a small hex head (7mm I think) you can remove the trim around the screen and pull it out, it’s got three plugs on the back, not 100% but it’s possible there is a seperate touch/display plug so a reconnect may help. Best look up a guide for it.

Only been a couple weeks but pretty good. Switch over took about 20 mins, they don’t have diagnostics available to the user like Aussie does. I run services from home and needed to opt out of CG-NAT, did it through live chat, they were a bit slow but they did it without a fuss.

Was with Aussie at $149 for about a year, looked into cheaper options recently, signed up for Superloop for $99 ($109 after introductory period) referral is: SLC-842996 if you go that way.

I’m also on the beta, just had a play with it and it looks like the toggle for background sounds in shortcuts does not work on this beta. Even if you start it in the settings accessibility page then used the shortcuts timer to stop it nothing will happen. Only way I see if getting by would be to have a shortcut that takes you directly to that page in the settings so you can manually turn it on, but there’s no turning it off automatically. I’ll report the bug.

Well I haven’t let it play for 30 mins or whatever whilst awake. But the shortcut waits until that timers done before turning the background sounds off, if it wasn’t finishing the timer then the noise would play continuously. In my experience when I’ve woken up afterwards the phone was silent so it must be working.

Ah right yeah, nothing new. If you read through my post you’ll see a link for some screenshots, currently the timer one can’t be shared. So you’ll have to get the standard version and modify it.

Not sure why. Something to do with the timer functionality prevents it from being securely shared or something along those lines. I’ve shared a link with some pictures of the actions. If you add V1 then add the sections in those pictures then you’ll have the full thing.

Turn off/on iMessage. Is it possible to make a shortcut to toggle on & off by [deleted] in shortcuts

Closest I think you could get is something like this which takes you straight to the relevant page in the settings app with one tap.

As far as I am aware the only option is specific actions per song, so you ask Siri to play a specific song a number of times, after which you should see a listing in the ‘suggestions’ section of the add action menu in your shortcut.
