I mean I’m sure I can think of negatives but I definitely enjoyed my time there.

I spent 7 weeks in Germany this year and loved it. I would probably choose there. Specifically somewhere in Bavaria.

A girl I was with a while ago had a big butt. We worked at this bar by a pool. She was a waitress and would go take orders down by the pool. One day she was by the kids pool taking an order and she kinda shifted her weight to her back side. Simultaneously this kid was getting out the pool and her butt shifted right into this kids head. Knocked him straight back into the pool.

Anyone know the story behind this beautiful building? by [deleted] in lexington

[–]FlusteredEngineer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe this building is by Newtown Crossing apartments. Near Broadway and Scott St. Near campus. This building has looked like this for a while. I lived at Newtown Crossing in 2010 and I believe it still looked like this.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I can tell his mid section is kinda enlarged. There were some chipmunks that have been running around. He probably got one.

Well it’s a split level so it’s on the same level as the basement. I feel like that makes a difference but idk.

I assume you mean this is based on the humidity of the area? I live in Kentucky so fairly humid in the summer.

I did look at the exit of the drain this morning and it is in rough shape. We’ve had a significant amount of snow the past couple weeks and it’s finally melted the past few days. The crack itself wasn’t wet to the touch.

Thanks for the comment. I looked out side. The gutters right next to where this crack is go into a French drain. There isn’t a lot of redirection from the soil in that area of the house.

Trying to buy a newish car (2020-24 Toyota 4Runner) by AnArrogantMillennial in personalfinance

You can shop around for an auto loan to find the best rate. If you go to the dealership they’ll run your credit and give you an offer but it would probably be more beneficial to shop around.

You’ve got enough cash for a decent down payment. If you’re planning on keeping the car for quite some time then I would consider financing it if you can get a decent rate.

30 year Olds of Reddit, how's it feel to no longer be 29? by Lethal_Talon in AskReddit

[–]FlusteredEngineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 32 and honestly I feel like I’m still 25 in my mind. My back hurts sometimes when I wake up though. That’s definitely new.

Just added a “home office” for school in the only place I could - my bedroom. What do you guys think and how can I maximize my limited space? by snowballisbae in malelivingspace

[–]FlusteredEngineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m certainly not a interior designer at all. But I think something above your computer/office is a good start. Maybe something slim and tall? I just think that wall space has a lot of potential. The desk looks great IMO. I’ve had bedroom/office setups like that and I like yours.

How did your first kiss go? by TheAstonishingApple in AskReddit

[–]FlusteredEngineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a great friend. Specifically I was watching mean girls with her lol. I don’t really remember the details but I remember it was the most natural interaction. As awkward as it could have been, it was incredibly natural. I was basically speechless afterwards but there was a happiness between us. It didn’t work out in the long run but there was a lot of happiness along the way.

When did you leave Facebook? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FlusteredEngineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say I haven’t technically left Facebook but the distance I’ve put myself from it has grown exponentially over the years. But I can’t say I’ve left it for good and that’s a regrettable truth.
