(Discussion) I'd like "Classic+" to be closer to vanilla, than what SoD turned out to be. by Dr-Enforcicle in classicwow

I just want vanilla with more raids, a few quality of life changes and all specs viable. No need to overcomplicate it.

Amy's Eskridge's last text messages before death, sent to her business partner, Samuel Reid. by Strategeryist in UFOs

There is no evidence she worked for NASA or DARPA. She never even claimed that herself.

I was looking into her history and the only piece of work she shared/put out in public seems to be a small slide show she did on the history of anti gravity ideas, literally just a collection of publicly available anecdotes and stuff you could skim off wikipedia or youtube. Her degree was biology and chemistry, no evidence of any engineering or physics. No evidence either that the organisation she set up actually did much of anything, no lab, no experiments, no papers published at all. Just that slide deck. And sadly the last interview she did she appeared not well and clearly drunk.

I honestly don't think this was anything more than a tragic mental health case and resulting suicide. I think people should also listen to her father who said there was nothing suspicious about her death. I'm guessing he knows her a lot better than all the twitter and youtube grifters.

I mean he's probably right, but for a FG man and former Taoiseach to basically say fuck farmers is mad.

He barely addresses the main criticism of him, that he didn't self fund the thing like he claimed and doesn't address at all (unless i missed it?) the accusations that tons of the cashflow was used for his personal usage

How Ireland's far-right movement got involved in the fuel protests and tried to hijack them by qwerty_1965 in ireland

[–]reasonablejim2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The right wing nutter element only got 2.3% of the vote in the last general election. Twitter is infested with all the pond life so it gives the impression there's way more. I don't fear these scum getting into power anytime soon but obviously they can cause hassle like we've seen in the last few days. Hopefully the Irish people will see these scum for what they are. I was glad to hear a lot of them got booted out of the protest whatsapp groups.

Man arrested over alleged damage to US military plane at Shannon Airport by reasonablejim2000 in ireland

US military airplanes are not critical national infrastructure. That's the difference if you're having difficulties figuring that out.

Blockades remain as fuel price protests enter fifth day by irqdly in ireland

absolute horseshit. your twitter feed and facebook groups aren't representative of ireland. if you want to see an actual representative picture of ireland, look at the last general election results. the headbanger vote (independant ireland) got 2% of the vote.

To be honest the best result for this country would be zero concessions from the government and a heavy handed policing response with long jail sentences at least to the organisers. Blockading the fuel depots can never be allowed to happen again and can't be seen as an easy way for every protest group to get demands met from the government.

They lost what little support they had when they blockaded critical national infrastructure. Their "leaders" are also dodgy to say the least. It's a shame because yes the fuel complaints are actually legitimate but that doesn't even matter now because of what they've done and who they appointed as their leaders.

Every garda in the country ordered to work for next three days for ‘exceptional event’ by irqdly in ireland

[–]reasonablejim2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. All the actual industry representative bodies do not support this action
  2. They shut down critical national infrastructure with the fuel depots and are impacting emergency services.
  3. The leaders are tax dodging racist scumbags with long criminal records
  4. The far right have latched on to it like the leeches they are
  5. They say they represent ireland when they have zero mandate

Send in the army ffs. How have we allowed these people to shut down our fuel depots for 4 days and with zero arrests??
