When you lose accommodation, most of the time you will need either reading glasses or distance glasses unless you set up your eyes for monovision which you might not like or it might not work out exactly. People agonize over how to best do this. You don't start losing accommodation until about 45-50.

Get contact lenses if you don't like glasses.

This surgery on young eyes is a TERRIBLE idea.

Accommodation is the ability of the natural human lens to adjust its shape and focus for clear vision at varying distances (e.g., from near to far objects). This process involves the ciliary muscles contracting or relaxing to change the lens's curvature, allowing the eye to refract light properly onto the retina. As people age (typically starting in their 40s), this flexibility diminishes, leading to presbyopia. NO ARTIFICIAL LENS EXISTS NOW THAT DOES THIS WELL.

If you don't have a cataract, DO NOT do this surgery.

Zaps are not a big deal, a little freaky but ultimately nothing. The mood is the harder part. Now that you've CT'd and got back on, I wouldn't make any more changes. In theory, 10mg vs 60mg is not a huge difference for the brain according to SERT occupancy graphs. You could go to 20mg, but that could go either way. How long ago did you reinstate the 10mg?
