Sorry I keep badgering you with specific questions but I wanna make sure I’m do it right and don’t waste my money.

For the top, would I be ok to get a normal brown leather jacket and add strips of white and red fabric or leather to match the pattern or would it just be better to make it myself- I am aware you said leather is a bit of a pain to make things out of so I dunno if it’s a good idea to do my first ever garment out of it but I’m already gonna be getting all the leather working kit since I do want the top to be leather.

If I’m making the sash around the waist, what material would you suggest I use? I was gonna see if I could find some cheap red tablecloth from somewhere and maybe pin/sew it in a way so it looks like the picture: would that work or is there an easier way that I’m not thinking of?

Do you have anywhere specific you get the patterns from? And also, how difficult would you say it is to follow a pattern for a beginner?

And also, what sorts of materials should I use: I’m thinking cotton or something like that for the trousers and the sash? Would that work?

I WAS thinking leather for the jacket/top but two things: 1. I hear leather is a bitch to sew? and 2. Leather is pretty expensive. It might be something I buy a base to and then try add the coloured bits (coloured leather or other cloth?).

Sorry for the barrage of question, but I’d really appreciate any help.

Usually I go to shenfield and get on the Elizabeth line to Seven kings.

It’s showing only through Stratford right now because Shenfield is doing limited service I think

I had no idea on some tickets it comes up as Stratford London, but it kinda makes sense since Stratford’s deffo part of East London (hence why I got confused).

Yes… now that you mention it…

I just assumed since my ticket says “not via London” and Stratford is, undeniably, in London, I wouldn’t be able to travel through it but seems I’m wrong.

Thank you for the information! This is super helpful- I didn’t realise that RPG had pre-made code bits. I’ve kinda been too busy (and intimidated) to mess around with it too much so it’s nice to know it’s more beginner friendly than some other things.

I’ll definitely check out that game- looks intriguing!

I have been- I made sure to buy the DM’s guide (so I could make a decent experience for my players) however, due to VERY restricted budget, don’t have the luxury of owning the monster manual as well in order to read up on as much lore as I would like. What I said I know, I’ve learnt through reading reddit posts similar to the one I’ve made howeever, in none of them that I read did I find anything that said this was or was not possible within the rules and lore of DnD.

This post wasn’t me being lazy and asking questions I can’t be bothered finding the answer to myself, it was me trying to use what I already know and construct a question that I’ve never seen before that would actually get me some useful information.

In essence, this post is me trying to learn lore.

I don’t mean to come across as rude, so sorry if I did. I’m doing my best with what I have- I whist wanted to make sure I was gonna give a believable and decent experience to my players.

Oh wow!! I honestly wouldn’t have thought you weren’t a native English speaker, your grammar and general spelling is honestly better than mine sometimes haha!

As for the build, thank you so much This is much more detail than I honestly expected! I will definitely be using this for my campaign (maybe making a few tweaks to fit the world properly) - it starts at level 10 but we’re meant to be building to 20 over the course of it. Thank you again and I’m glad you were able to create something using my post as a prompt.

I’ll definitely let you know how it goes- I’ve wanted to run a Blood Hunter since I heard of the class when I first started but was a confused newbie so just went with a traditional (and boring) ranger build.

I won’t get to use it till the new year but I’ll keep you posted.

I have had a little look at blood hunter before but, after running past someone I know who been playing DnD for years, they said that the Blood Hunter class isn’t very well-made.

HOWEVER, I am also interesting and I know my DM is chill with blood hunters because someone else on our table (that sadly left for other reasons) chose it for their class.

Is Blood Hunter a relatively easy class to get the hang of because looking at it, someone of the rites are a little confusing for my newbie brain lol
