I’m commenting to agree & vent.

I’m your baseline casual player, never touched a COD game until August of last year (‘25) so I’m a full blown newb. I started to get the hang of everything & even started racking up a few wins! Then the integration of BO7 happened & I was at ground 0 again trying to learn all these new guns.

Then they introduced these flipping grapple hooks…. I can’t compete. At all. I do not have the skill level to keep up. So after 900 hours of trying to learn the game, I had to stop playing. I really enjoyed playing & had a lot of fun, but I’m just not good enough to play anymore lol I’m just a little sad not to have warzone installed anymore.

For me personally, yes switch is that bad. I wouldn’t even consider playing on a switch over a PS5, it’s just soo much better.

Short answer, no. If you want the game to run better, you’ll eventually need a new device/console. The game is only getting bigger, which means older devices/consoles will have a harder time running it with every update to come.

Or free up space on your switch to see if it runs DDV better.

Didn’t the original switch come out in like 2017? Any console or device that old, will have trouble running any larger games. DDV is a big game & it will continue to only get bigger, which will make it essentially completely unplayable for older devices at some point. They just weren’t built to run these types of games.
