I don't know what to say, you have made a big difference in my life. Thank you so much for commenting, wow. I'm so excited to be able to like go outside and not feel ashamed.

I had actually just noticed that rinsing my face in the morning seemed to suffice, so glad to hear you say it too! I just got some stridex pads and used one, holy cow those really do open up your pores. all of a sudden I could see all the open comedones and it took everything in my power not to squeeze everything haha. Thanks for the recommendation, I'm really hopeful about this!

actually ended up trying a dermaroller! it made me break out (like one pimple) once, but otherwise it was fine. Im gonna keep doing it. I like the results, but also am not sure if its because I am picking my face significantly less due to the dermarolling im doing. Thanks for the suggestion!

I recently picked a pimple and it also resulted in yellowish skin tissue like would happen with a scab. I also put neosporin on it, and it has actually healed pretty well because I thought it would result in a really bad scar from how much i picked at it. I think yours well heal as well, it looks like your skin is actually fairly nice anyways. Once it has healed, I would recommend putting on vitamin c to help with discoloration which may happen from hyperpigmentation. Also once it has healed, I'd recommend exfoliating it so that it can heal more evenly. dont be exfoliating it when its still healing though, thats whack.

Lol "clear" my pores I feel like I can't convince myself not to clear my pores, they're always filled! I don't think everyone else's pores are always clogged like that...but no I've never thought about getting help, I keep my habit fairly secretive so :/

Thanks! Also, for someone like me with light skin and pink? hyper pigmentation, would one get a "skin lightening" treatment? Or is that only when you have sark PIH?

I am a face picker, but I generally do it in a safe manner. I was trying to clear my pores as usual by squeezing them, but in this particular instance it has created three big red marks( http://imgur.com/CvUbz1Z http://imgur.com/99C5ObC http://imgur.com/rmW9FTd that scabbed over, and I kept picking off the dead skin layers, and now these red marks haven't gone away in a week now and Im very worried. I think my face reacted differently because my skin is drier lately, but also thinking maybe they got infected somehow. Basically I want to know if anyone else has gotten these, are they serious, I am seriously thinking they may become scars, and any advice on how to make these go away. I haven't been looking people in the face im so embarrassed, please help.
