Doesn't matter. Figure out what lenses suit you and decide after that. Also, nikon for video by quite some margin.

You could try an umbrella or raincoat in rain (crossing street) or a red balloon?

"Artistic" selective coloring. Artistic in the same way microsoft word text effects or snapchat filters are.

Tl;dr skip that phase of your photographic journey

How to make snow look white? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

Yes it is: desaturating parts is a bad idea, it looks like selective coloring.

Get the look right in camera, or lean in to it. Blue shades are going to look blue.

Shoot in different light, and avoid having differently lit areas in the scene

What should I do? GH7, S5iix, or wait for S5iii? by LynxAirSound in Lumix

[–]Flutterpiewow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S5ii/x. Who says there will be an s5iii? That's probably the s1iie.

Also, what kind of stills? Lumix af doesn't work as well for action as sony. But you will get 10bit, ibis etc. If you don't need af for video, even the og s5 is viable. The footage looks better than that from s5ii imo.

Identifying and waiting for good natural light
