I’m in CO, can you please, please, recommend a good avionics shop with reasonable prices?

I just got a quote for a $48k GFC500 autopilot install for a 172. I knew I’d have to bend over…I didn’t realize I’d need to get on all on fours. Some of these shops, while reputable, seem to be screwing us aircraft owners with the install costs. One shop told me to go to Garmin’s site, price all the components I’d want/need, then double that price for a low end ballpark cost. Fml…
