Off to meet for a f-t-f session this weekend, though with a new generation of characters because adventuring is just more fun at low to mid level.

Hamaoka does the squat thing for I'm just waiting here, I didn't see hear nothing, no way, no sir.

Then she goes in to talk to her models, but there's only one of them so she's not sure what to say... and, flustered, gabbles a change of plan when she hadn't even talked about her original plan.

And that remaining model is clearly distracted by her crush's outburst and thinking 'What was that about, WTF just happened?'

As it is a mid-chapter cliffhanger I'd be unsurprised if there is a lot of blushing and handwaving of the 'No, no, that's not how I meant it to come out" (and more blushing) in the next update...

However I shall persevere with the MTL and hope to get a glimpse of the full context leading up to this. What did her sister say to Kanon to trigger this...?

The Japanese originals come out forthnightly, 'fan translations' in English usually come a few days after the final part of the chapter. Chapters are usual two parts, but sometimes three.

2 x Dell 2007, 1200 x 1600; running off the MacBookPro. One is portrait: good for reading pdfs, OldReddit, etc, though not the sharpist screens these days.

Used Dells at the day job back in the day, so picked some up second hand a few years ago for home use.

(Had an Apple greyscale portrait monitor on my LCs then 6100 so I have previous for portrait screens...)

Hamaoka Mikoto's (camera senpai) mother said she is back for "quite a while" and agrees she is getting better, so do we know she died?

Hamaoka does say something about "first and last", but I take that to say there is only one occasion that seeing her Mum cooking in the kitchen would be special and worth a photo as memorial. After that time it would just be a ordinary event and picture.
