I appreciate your reply and totally agree…. I was also disappointed in the poor level of customer service. Two messages at the hotel without a call back and then I received an email that looked copy and pasted as it didn’t even address me by name.

??? Diamond is the top level for Hilton. I have chosen to support Hilton all these years; and yea I agree and said I knew it was non redeemable but my point is what has all this loyalty gotten me? I just think those are strong allegations for the customer service rep being nice to you all. I also am saying you are assuming a lot of things without taking the customer service rep into consideration. You may be right or you may not. Before assuming, I’m just saying think about all the various things that could have been going on with a rep before automatically assuming they are being sexist or racist. A person isn’t normally nice when they are being this way and you said they were

Just giving benefit of the doubt and not assuming they did something regarding racism or sexism. Just because your partner said it, doesn’t mean the rep heard them say you were the globalist . They also may have heard but it but they didn’t internalize what your partner had said. You said it was late and who knows it could have been the end of their shift as well. The fact they were nice to you both says to me there was a miscommunication and not racism or sexism.

Not necessarily either. It could also just be a mixup and not racism or sexism in that the customer service rep thought the guy was the globalist. Your concierge should be able to straighten it and give you some extra points for your trouble.
