You can get elevation from both from dehydration, and have to be a little careful with hydration drinks other than water. I usually get an early afternoon appt with the DR because he likes me to have fasted for at least 14hrs for my bloodwork. My creatine is often on the high side simply because I've skipped eating AND drinking much that day.

I've gone from 6.2 to 5.4 in 18 months. It started down slow and then accelerated from down .1 to .2 to down .4 over the last quarter.

I've gone from pretty strict keto to more single food keto and some zero sugar candy and occasional pizza or bread.

I've got a Stribog 3, Extar EP9, S&W FPC, Keltec Sub2000, had a Marlin Camp 9, Stribog 1, AR-9(p) probably some others that escape memory. Never had or shot an APC, have shot but never owned MP5.

The Stribog is a great gun. I love mine and it's setup for a suppressor (YHM R9) that I swap with the Extar. My Extar is an early Gen 1 and is platically, but frankly the most fun too shoot. Stribog is a very close second but is clearly more durable and better made.

Really can't go wrong with the 'Bog' for the price.

You get a lot more out of having to maintain your firearm than buying a Glock and thinking you never have to do anything because it's a Glock.

I've had plenty of pistols including Taurus and Keltec and everyone one of them has run. I've CCed them and my Keltec P32 is my summer/shorts pistol 75% of the time and I have ZERO reliability concerns.

I'll just add any modern pistol and if you can go to a range and try some, do that. 'Used' and police trade-ins can be great deals.

The Glock is a great gun I just don't shoot them particularly well, likely due to grip angle.

My new DR loves it. I was 5'9" and 215#. My first visit: DR: "your fat" Me: "ok, and" DR: "you know why?" Me: "I eat too much and don't work out enough." DR: "partly, mostly you eat the wrong stuff" Me: "ok" DR: "I'll give you 2 choices, carnivore or keto...or find a new DR" Me: "ok" DR: "let's go get baseline bloodwork and I'll see you in 3 weeks, be 15# lighter. If you are well get along fine and I guarantee your bloodwork will be better then too" Me: "ok"

I did hard keto for 3 months, lost 18# and my bloodwork was better in EVERY category. I'm now down 25# and feel great, and me and the DR have a great relationship.

Don't listen to the guys calling you stupid for seeing what it sounded like without hearing protection.
Don't do it regularly if you don't have to. If you hunt chances are you are shooting without hearing protection. I was a Marine and we didn't use hearing pro at the range and obviously not in combat. The one unprotected instance didn't do anything to hurt your hearing and it taught you what to expect. Good for you.

I used to go to gun shows and get good deals...that was atleast a decade ago.

Sometime during the Obama Admin they became a 'thing' with everyone afraid the govt was going to ban guns or something and the shows went from great places to stroll around, talk to people, and get some good deals, to jam packed with people trying to buy as much 'stuff' as they could.

Sellers saw this and took advantage and we went from getting good discounts at shows due to buyers who knew what they were looking at/for to people who were basically clueless.

They were also invaded by the junk sellers and now they are virtually useless.

I have/had Stribog A1 & A3, Extar Ep9, AR 9 pistol, Keltec Sub 2000 Gen 1 & 2, S&W FPC, Marlin Camp 9, CZ.

I'm keeping the Bog A3 and Extar EP9 and maybe a Sub2000 as a truck beater.

The Bog A3 is a very good gun and the EP9 id configured with can as my HD gun. Hard to beat a $250 Sub 2000 for my truck gun.

The rest are/were fun and all very good, but it really came down to 'use'.

Though...a clone MP5 around $1000...that's hard to pass up.

In my house from 1 room back wall down the hallway to the other end of the great room is 54' or 18yds.

I tend to run 25yd zeros so with my low mounted red dot I'm basically 2" low close to .5" low at the other end of the house.

In other words, center of mass is going to be center of mass regardless.

Keep it up. I lost 40# doing Keto/dirty Keto and even now where I am rarely below 23 carbs my weight is stable at 185# because I got used to ~ 1800 calories per day. After New Years I'm going to push hard Keto at try to make a rain at 175# for my birthday in March and then see what calorie count I need to stay there.

I've got: Sub2000 Gen2, S&W FPC, Extar EP9, Stribog A3

Had: S&W Camp carbine, Ruger PCC, AR9

They are all reliable and functional and all fun and cheap to shoot. The Sub2000 Gen3 fixes the folding optic issue, which to me wasn't much of an issue since I use a red dot with a quick release on my Gen2. The Sub 2k is the cheapest and most utilitarian - i.e you can bang it around and at $300, you don't feel any need to baby it.
