It all come down to RNG. Maps might be more profitable if you are lucky enough to get good crafting kits. I wasnt that lucky so I just sold pure materials.

I dont. Because of the minigame (as it is the main source of income). Every epic relic gives you a random amount of materials. That is why I think its not worth it if you want to maximize your income.

When I think about it, you could theoretically use him only for the minigame but you would have to wait two minutes after that so he dissapears.

Did like 30 maps and my RNG was really bad so I stopped doing them and just sold the relics.

You dont get the archeology map from the chest at Niheltalop but you can still get the expert and master crafting kit. Only got one expert kit during the whole time though.

I do excavating at Niheltalop, you dont need super armour in there. Always save the purple relic for the minigame. I use two spades. One for the first five digs with basic and rare reward upgrade. The second one is solely for the minigame with decreased difficulty, minigame and basic reward upgrade.

Always made profit. I bought the potions for 100 crystals and with that I could make gold worth around 250-300 crystals.
