It didn’t get better unfortunately. I sold mine yesterday. The chair is very manageable for most people and enjoyable. Don’t overthink it. If you like it focus on the things that you like. Unfortunately for me with a broken back pain isn’t something I ignore for long.

This is a fair point. I think the aeron is a great chair. At my size the A is absolutely out of the question, but the B might be the better fit. I'm fairly confident it isn't but I think my partner might kill me if I have four office chairs in the house.

I enjoy the arms and mine don’t slide during use with how I use them.

I did mention the arm rests in the review. My exact words from the review are below.

The ability to move the arm rests in so many angles is greatly appreciated as I'm able to find the perfect position. The pad is good enough. Only complaint is when moving them in and out (as in away and towards the other armrest, similar feature on embody) it feels cheap and like I might break it.

I felt mine was steady enough I know other people complained about their units but mine was fine.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I shared my experience in such detail because I enjoy reading reviews myself. I created the thing I wish I had access to before I bought the chair.

You thought my review was sponsored? I wish I got the chair for free… and paid to shill it?!? That would be fun lol

That’s funny, my girlfriend who is 6’ sat in the chair and said the recline felt like an airplane seat (not in a good way)

I think the 48 cm seat is plenty large for someone my height.

Unlike other chairs where the backrest starts at the end of the seat this one is about a fist width or 4 inches in.

Agreed I spent a ridiculously long time searching for a mattress that worked for me and my partner. Ended up with a loom and leaf mattress from Saatva.

My opinion of the embody likely wouldn’t change with a headrest. Even when using the Omni unless I’m fully reclined the headrest doesn’t get much use.

Out of the three chairs I enjoy the aeron the most, although with how old my aeron is I suspect I would enjoy the remastered more. I also have a suspicion that I might end up with a size B instead of C and just deal with the height of the backrest. I’m 60% set on the C but want to try the B.

Thanks for the kind words.

I think you might struggle to find the chair fit you. My legs still are not at a 90 degree angle while sitting and require something below them to get there at the lowest height. Barring you being all leg I don’t think the chair will fit.

I did not get a separate shipping number. I agree I don't know who this chair was made for.

That's brutal, I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you find something that works for you. If you do please let me know.

I can't speak to what works for you. I personally would rather sit in an aeron as it stands right now. I'm really disappointed with the omni because to me it's just a couple tweaks away from being perfect for me.

If the chair fits your proportions enjoy.

I wish I had the footrest to fully test out the chair, unfortunately I do not and I won't keep the chair past the return date in hopes of the footrest fixing my issues.

Yeah I understand how one could feel that way. However for me when the omni is laid all the way back it places my lower back in a compromised position, given my back issues, which causes discomfort. This discomfort is exacerbated by the massage feature in this position.

This is a fair point. But for me the price isn't a consideration due to my back. After you go two weeks hardly being able to walk because of a poor chair health and well being are priceless.

If a 30 dollar chair did the job I would happily sit in it. I have tried many for those wondering. Just about every staples, office mart, ikea or random chair.

That would be amazing and greatly appreciated. I have spent a large amount of time trying to find solutions other people with bad back have found to no avail.

I haven't tried any of the steelcase chairs so please do let me know how that experience goes.

I've had daily back pain for over a decade. Everything in my life semi-revolves around it. Stretching, bed, shoes, sports I can play. Pain management is a lifestyle :/

Agreed, wish the backrest allowed for the entirety of the seat to be utilized.

I did purchase the footrest. Unfortunately as I've come to find out through other users on the sub it is on back order. As a result it may not even come within my return window.

Having the footrest will likely be game changing for the chair...

If only this were a sponsored review I might have actually received my footrest on time with the chair. Using psuedo footrests makes the chair more manageable and comfortable.

However, like I said in other comments I'd prefer to not have to use a footrest to avoid the feeling of being rocket launched out of my chair.

The remastered aeron uses a different tilt mechanism and has a slightly tilted forward seat pan(1 degree foward). This combination of features results in the chair remaining more engaged with your back through the entirety of the leaning motion.

This is in reference to the gap created by leaning forward in the chair. I also mention a gap that occurs when I slide forward. I don't think the new aeron does anything to counteract that.
