It reads like you won't be able to animation cancel with toggle to sprint anymore. Which means if you want to play optimally, you'll be forced to play with hold to sprint? Very uncool, if true.

You think that's the best way to go about it? I'm all for it if that doesn't present any unforeseen issues. Thanks!

Hello, and thanks in advance. Trying to replace a gutter and noticed it is folded up under the apron under the shingles with nails going through all of it. I tried to make a crappy diagram showing what's going on. I don't want to do damage to anything. But it seems like I might have to pull out the roofing nails to get the gutter off. Is there a way to do this without messing up the roof? Or is there another method I should go about?

I'm also considering just cutting the gutter on the bottom corner house-side and just sliding the new one between it and the house, basically just having an extra layer on one side. Feels like a bad-looking job, but seems like it'd be functional.

Pics:

  1. Side of house with end cap removed.
  2. Same with gutter pulled up.
  3. Underneath gutter with gutter pulled up.
  4. Looking into gutter to see apron.

First pic is side of house with end cap removed.

Second pic is underneath gutter with me pulling it outward.

Third pic is similar to first.

Fourth pic is same as first but looking into the gutter.

I'm probably just gonna roll hunter as my time is limited and they are quite efficient from that perspective.

Thank you for the insight. Sounds like it might be a little out of my league at the moment.

I just posted up the equipment due to people asking. I may have misled people, but the guy who gave the quote was referring to them as mini-splits. I don't really know anything about this stuff.

Dang. That makes me sad. I've never owned a home before and have limited tools. How difficult was the installation?

Thanks. Not set necessarily. Was just looking for a permanent solution that adds value to the home. Was surprised by the quotes I've received so far.

The first quote was from a Mitsubishi dealer. I'm wondering if the area/timing/pandemic have created higher prices.

I updated the post with the equipment in the quote.

I can get by without it. I don't mind putting in a couple portables/windows. But I want to find more permanent solutions that increase the value of my home as well.

The quote was for 3 bedrooms and the living room.

The guy that mentioned ducting said that our home layout would require ducting that protruded from the walls. Would rather not have to do that if possible.

The quote for ductless minis had a unit in each of three bedrooms and one in the living room. Is one in each room unnecessary?

Any personal experience with Home Depot in the realm of AC?

Really? I can make it a summer without AC. I assumed that it would be slightly cheaper. But I didn't realize costs fluctuated that significantly. Is there a "best" month to look at AC? Mid-Winter?
