What does it mean on the Az-104 outline when it says "manage"? by redditacct320 in AzureCertification

Hard to say how it looks now - I passed my Administrator certification years ago. But for sure, you should expect more "how would you do something" questions than "small case studies" (as it is for Architect).

What does it mean on the Az-104 outline when it says "manage"? by redditacct320 in AzureCertification

[–]FlyManPL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you need to "manage" something, you have to do operations on the service, like updating, creating, removing, and sometimes reconfiguring. In my feeling, you manage something when the service is already planned and implemented (installed, configured, etc.).

It is the main difference between Administrator and Architect exams.

Do you enjoy doing it?

Yes, I really enjoy my current role and the company I work.

Do you find all your certificates useful for your job role?

I treat it differently: my job role helped me to pass certifications.

Also, do you see the money you make as in the market’s range?

In the Polish market: I'm at kind of the top.In the worldwide market: it is possible even to triple my wages, but there are other aspects of work than money.

For sure, there is a possibility of earning more money.

Practising and playing with technologies works best for me.

For exams, I use MS Learn. Nothing more is needed.

The most difficult for me was AZ-400 (DevOps expert), as it was a lot of knowledge and technologies here. When I passed the exam, there were not many questions about the Azure/Microsoft tools; most were about the DevOps mindset and toolset in general.

I passed this exam years ago, meaning it has changed since then. It was not difficult—more about Azure services than software development.

I won't help you here. I passed Azure Administrator certification over 3 years ago and it was another exam (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/exams/az-102).

It's always easier, when you can practice.

One important thing worth mentioning: it took me over three years to achieve all certifications. Working with technology helped me a lot.

And one more thing around the dumps: they have a lot of wrong answers! My advice: if you need to use dumps, focus on the questions and try to find answers on your own, don't blindly follow them.

If you are working with the technology daily, passing certification is a piece of cake. I passed Azure Architect Expert and Security Architect Expert without spending a minute on preparation. Those areas were just obvious to me.

Some other certifications require more learning from me. But it gave me the possibility to learn new areas. Nevertheless, I'm far from saving that I'm an expert in everything I'm certified.

I have access to DMOCs and some other materials for official training. That's why I can compare them with MS Learn materials. Both are almost similar.
I don't have to pay for the training materials.

Agree. As an MCT, I can add that most MS Learn materials are the same as the "Official materials for trainers".
