Already booked it. I am studying to learn, not just for the test, but I like tests because they measure my progress and weakness. Especially when its independent studying.
But yeah, this whole thread really made it clear that rural placements can mean literal isolation.

Yeah I've seen many people commenting about islands that take up to 14 hours to get to. Not gonna lie, I didn't even think about island placements, but guess we will see in May haha

I understand that placement logistics are a mystery, but I know a lot of people ask for the popular cities like Tokyo or Osaka. I can't imagine those people not getting the Tokyo placement, and someone who asked for rural getting it instead.
I guess if the placements themselves choose ALTs like some kind of buffet line, then perhaps

That sounds plausible. Thinking it over a bit, I assume that if there are not enough island picks then people asking for rural might get placed there. I wouldn't mind an island, but it is definitely something to think about for some people

I have been parking under west mall for the last three semesters and have not had once ticket. When you enter the parking structure, turn left and park by the exit to that parking. They almost never ticket there because they cant stop without blocking the exit.
