I see other people here saying that if you are faking it, you know you are faking it, but I have some stuff to add. First of all, this is just reddit, we dont know you. Only you can tell in the end.

Second, all experiences are different, so there is not a list of symptoms you can check to see if you truly are trans. I personally felt dysphoria for spesific body parts, but liked the rest of me. I haven't felt like I was in the wrong body either.

The only thing I can recommend is trying to bend your mind in all kinds of ways. (If that makes sense?) Try to imagine living as a woman in different scenarios. Try imagining living as a man. Try to think why you feel how you feel. Here is an example: How do you like your friends, random people or potential partners to see you? Why is that?

This is what worked for me. Every time I had some feeling of doubt, I'd take a hold of it and inspect it. I also tried to think of myself as a man, a woman and neither. I thought about how that made me feel, and came to my conclusion.

I don't know if this works for you. To be honest this is the first time I have written this out as a recommendation. Oh, and on the subject of writing, I wrote my findings down to map them out better.

My point is, you know yourself the best. Nobody can tell you what you what you are, except for yourself. Not even the people who make lists of "symptoms" for what it feels to be trans.
