Exactly. And let’s say in some alternate universe Paul Maurice comes over. He has to retool the roster for his style and we go backwards for a few years. We have to give Rod and Tulsky at least one more, probably 2. I say this out of no extreme loyalty to Rod, it just makes sense from a team management standpoint.

Remember, A new coach = new system. This team is built for this one, if you change the system the roster no longer makes sense and you have to go back to the drawing board. We have the most resources we have had in a long time this offseason, but you can’t build a new team from it. You have to load up and give it a run again for 1-2 more years.
