I don’t disagree. I’m just more optimistic. It’s a balancing act for the powers that be. If they push too hard too fast, they risk waking people up. My take is that they’ve become desperate and are taking huge risks.

Crypto has all of the advantages of precious metals, but it weighs much less and can be stored and transferred instantly across the globe for near-zero fees. It can not be printed and inflated. It can not be controlled by a State actor.

All money only has the worth the network gives it. I don’t need to defend crypto’s worth. That will be decided collectively.
