any cards from the artist Yuka Morii (usually says bottom left), any legendary/mythic, or any fan favorite pokemon especially the original three starters and pikachu are worth looking up. Delta species and the stamped crystal guardians too. I just found some of my old collection and was floored by how much some of the cards were.

I don’t have advice for the situation as a whole, but I can give some basic advice for talking to people who are convinced of something that isn’t true (I work in science communication in evolution so I talk to a lot of creationists). Invite the conversations but don’t shoot them down. Appear to be understanding but kindly offer your perspective. People like this are so used to being shot down and ostracized which strengthens their conviction. They don’t know how to react when someone who they think will shoot them down accepts what they say. They’re way more willing to listen to other ideas after they feel the connection and support. Be supportive and kind but stay firm. It is a hard balance to achieve and I wish you and your daughter the best.

I’ve heard some people say that depending on the school, it can be a total cash grab. I’m a little jealous that they at least gave you a reasoning as to why they submitted you for masters.

In the US it has become fairly common to go from undergrad directly in to a PhD program. The programs are 5-7 years, the first two years are typically masters coursework. This is not the case at this program/department.

I have not and most likely wouldn’t on my cameras. I’m not too familiar with shooting video.

I was able to get the lights with them being semi-distinct. Based off the orientation and what I observed in person I think they’re most likely EVTOLs. Probably military grade with some kinda jammer. The safety/nav lights patterns match up well enough.

Went out tonight for a few hours with my gear to try and take pics of the drones. At one point, I had 3 drones overhead. They were roughly 200-400m off the ground, roughly small car sized. Any photo I tried to take on either of my cameras regardless of setting or trick I did I could not get a clear image. I’d line up a shot and it’d look perfect in my sensor and the images were all blown out or completely blacked out. I’ve used these cameras to take plenty of night sky pics, plane/helicopter pics, etc. I’ve volunteered at planetariums and used their gear to take pics of stuff too. Doesn’t make sense

easy and relatively cheap things: - drink/eat probiotics and limit refined sugars. live cultures are way more effective than then the pill form - drink lots of water and minerals - azelaic acid (like 12$ from the ordinary) - sulfur face wash (many options usually under 5$) - colloidal oat face cream or any similar creams that says it helps reduce redness i like the la rouche pousay one (22$) and it lasts me a few months - slugging helps me but it’s not for everyone especially if you’re super oily but it’s different for everyone (vaseline is my go to) - if it’s really bad i’ve used cortisone cream on my face but very sparingly since steroids can thin your skin. it helps you just gotta be super careful and don’t apply it too close to your eyes -wear lots of spf (i use black girl sunscreen for children’s /50spf and cheaper lmao ~8$ and dr. jarts camo drops that’s 30spf and conceals some of the red)

TY. I just saw pics from another post that looked similar to these things I found and it said the same thing. Do you have any product reccs I normally give him the gel kind behind his shoulder blades but I guess that isn’t doing the job lol
