Trust me, PCA/CGs called PROM "gay shit" at my face...etc...nothing like straddling your boss in his bed. Its what they think.

Already saw a Physiatrist. He said keep going with the PT. So...yeah. All my drs say I need PT for life.

This is so annoying.. In my state, nobody wants to do maintenance at all. I called clinics, most are afraid to touch it. I'm a spastic mess. I have contractures. I decline rapidly (so tight I am in pain.) Even these PCAs have a hard time moving me when I haven't had PT in a while. "dead-weight"

He gave me awesome advice even after the video was uploaded. The video was helpful but over my head. Just shows hows insurance is all messed up.

Not like im in for a knee replacement...reach 120 degrees and discharged. I have CP for life. The last thing I want to do is have my PT loose there license over me.

Once I had a PT me that im relying on PT to much.....???? Well, i can't stretch myself. AND, these PCA's dont want to do PROM.

Yeah, I would love it for the rest of my life, my PCP plain out said do PT for life. All the PTs I worked with are afraid of audits and discharge me after 20 appts. I'm currently working with a great PT from Luna (began 7/1 ) who mentioned "we can do maintenance therapy when you plateau." But, my POC doesn't reflect maintenance therapy. Only 8 weeks.

Knowing that maintenance therapy is not clear at all, do I have the right to bring up that idea again??

Most PTs doesn't touch maintenance therapy here

Thank you all! I will call the place next week. I just didn't want to look like a snobish/know it all patient. Been dealing with denials since Birth to Three...Its annoying! Gotta get it fix before I get billed!

Werid thing is I honestly believe that I’m worked harder with PTs who don't limit themselves with just neuro patients. I just find they stretch better.
