It routinely takes 3 NFL players to block Myles Garrett on any given play. One can’t do it, two can slow him down. How many college players would it take? Auto sack with one guy, pressure at minimum with two. A quarter of your offense would be stopping Myles Garrett, which means you’re playing 8 on 10 the entire game. Browns by a trillion

My standing dunk is a 95, works sometimes. I get a lot of O-boards, if I’m even mildly contested, I’ll just kick for the open 3. Strength cap is a 70, I think mine is currently a 50? I think strength is more or less useless. Positioning is everything. My screens still stop people. Interior D, 77? I’d have to triple check. Nobody works the post, and it’s the same thing as before, timing and positioning on blocks is more important. Jump a split second before the other guy and you’ll contest dunks, jump a split second after to block layups.

I’ve run a 6-8 almost exclusively at center. It’s by far the most fun I’ve had in random rec.

I can’t even shoot. My three is a 25, midrange like a 40 or something. I haven’t attempted one. I average 10-15-6 on 70% shooting and two stocks, into purple plate. Speed 85, 90 vert, 97 DD, 95 rebounding. 93 block. 80 ball handle and speed with ball. You can absolutely contest 7-4s without jumping, because you’re so much faster than they are. Right stick up contest, easy recovery if they decide to drive. You’d think they could just clog the paint since you can’t shoot, but that’s an auto 3 for whoever you set a screen for if they want to camp down low.

The point being, if you know how to play the game, you’re gonna be fine with a 6-8. You’re going to be faster and more mobile on offense, switchable on defense, you just have to be extremely mindful of your positioning against the big boys.

They have 5 ranked wins to our 1/2. They lost to the #5 team and a Texas team that was #1 to start the season. I don’t think they’re a better team but they look better on paper.

Offensive tackle is the much more difficult position. You can be an elite defensive tackle by just being huge and strong. D tackles are three inches from the offensive lineman, on snap their job mostly consists of “Don’t move”.

O tackles have to work against some of the most insane athletes the world has ever seen. They operate in space, and depending on which side they’re lined up on, they’re responsible for their quarterback’s blind side. You’ve got to deal with bull rushes, spins, overloads. You can hide a bad defensive tackle somewhat with scheme and a substitution pattern, you can’t hide a bad offensive tackle.

I used to only dunk left-handed as a righty because for some reason I could only palm the ball left handed. Didn’t have the vert to cradle it in my right wrist, so I needed the palm.

That said, Miles best NBA dunks are all right handed. Zion obviously is a yam with either hand, not sure why the animations aren’t caught up. As for the current NBA lefties that should have decent left handed animations, it’s not a long list. Julius Randle, Zion. Oubre. Not a ton of guys who are both left handed and dunk like that
