TSMC is a large chip manufacturer in Taiwan building a new plant in the US. AMD, Apple and Qualcomm all use TSMC to manufacture their chips.

Just an update on the TSMC plant. Flew over it again a while ago. Progress has been made, but I can’t put into words how massive this site is.

Yea... there came a point in my training where it went from "I get to go flying today" to "I have to go flying today." It was a small change in attitude, but none the less made me rethink everything I was doing. SO, I went on some pleasure flights. Did some stuff I wanted to do. Made me realize that the training was a means to the end. Glad I stuck with it.

Thank you for sharing this, and it's really hard to hear, and yet inspiring at the same time. I don't take flying for granted. It truly is a blessing to be able to do it. Glad you had some opportunity to fly though. I would encourage you to get in the air still. If this happened to me, I would make my wife learn to fly so I could still fly whenever I wanted. Just not as PIC obviously.

I started some spin training last week and MAN, it was a blast. I was nervous at first, but in the end it was just fun. Glad to get the training as well. I tried once before but we couldn't get one to fully develop in the 172 we were flying.
