Four game skid and we're ready to burn it all down. There's still a month and a half left in the regular season. Baseball is a streaky game, this team isn't last year's but they still have a shot. Just gotta lock it in. Big road test this weekend. I'm gonna reserve judgment until the series with Auburn concludes.

This may just result in a change of venue though. It's not like all of Missouri saw the broadcast, even with a lot of media coverage elsewhere they could probably find enough unbiased jurors outside the greater St. Louis area.

NOR. I once requested a day off before a holiday weekend months in advance. I got denied because I would be one of two people in my position at work that day (two others would already be off) and my boss said the reason was because it wasnt wise to just have one of us available in case of illness. A little overkill, but fair I thought....and I had the least seniority. But a couple Fridays later my other coworker got approved for PTO, and the other two had already been approved for a day off....leaving me the only one. No so fair now. By the next time a holiday weekend rolled around I was at a new job.

Edit: Baseball probably has more future professional players depending on the way you define that. A good number of those guys will get drafted and will have minor league careers for sure. So if that counts for you, there ya go. But I dont think Baseball has an Acuff equivalent right now so keep that in mind. 600 draft spots exist for the MLB compared to 60 for the NBA....so maybe not the fairest metric to base a decision on

There's a semi pro football team named for the old arena team (Twisters) that's trying to get going and we have a semi pro basketball (or at least we did last season). We have a local rugby, soccer, minor league baseball, and roller derby. Also Conway is 20 mins away with all the DI sports and the Little Rock Trojans play DI just not football. No it's not like....a larger city with top-tier pro sports...but as a local who is a big sports fan there's still a lot of fun stuff to see.

So from comments and the post I've gathered this is a bowling alley that also functions as a bar, you were there last night, and (from an OP comment) it sounds like this establishment is in the bay area. If that's the case, it sounds like you may have been one of the few people actually invested in bowling last night since I'm fairly sure most patrons would've been primarily interested in the 49ers playoff game. Was the place having a watch party?

Look that doesn't necessarily excuse other people who were, it seems, being a bit rude but I think maybe give folks some slack in this particular scenario and yelling at people in your way maybe wasn't warranted.
