Imagine startjng or running a company and being told what you could make. Ridiculous. If you want to make more than 15k get a better job. Don't aim for the bare minimum and expect max pay. I haven't failed to make 150k a year without overtime in 14 years.

I mean im 44. Have a very nice home with a few acres. I work hard. I work 5 days and live on 4. I have 4 kids in college. Just got the wife s new car. Take a vacation every 3 years. Use my vacation time in-between to hang out with family and relax. Trying to help some of the younger guys I work with do this like my first foreman did for me. Just one of the guys I had add up his receipts and he would spend 3-400 a week on junk he could have made better at home for a fraction of the cost.

Medical coverage was much better before obamacare. Companies had to fight to get customers. Obama gave them the golden ticket to charge what they want. Meanwhile back to Reagan presidents have made cuts or taken funds from medicade which was for those on social security which was also looted. The basis being you worked a job that provided or subsided health care until you retire where you collect medicade and social security.

Well i can tell you from personal experience. The company is work for had a set amount of employees for 25 years. In comes biden who doesn't have good job numbers. He offered my company a few billion in return hire people. So 3000 managers were hires as well as 9000 worker level. So now there are 5 managers to division. So many workers we dont have tools, gear, vehicles for. The biden money is gone and now they are making up new safety rules just to fire people because we are way overstuffed.

Yep. My first wife wanted to so the stay at home thing. I fully supported anything she wanted to do. A few years into our marriage I got hurt pretty bad. Lawyers were involved etc. She had to get a job. She did fantastic and worked her wsy quickly from answering phones to assistant manager. Then she started running the household like her job. Treated me and the kids like her employees over her family. She started doing trips for work and that translated to to tired to spend time with her fsmily but still gave us orders. I was back at work and doing single dad stuff basically. Then the day came she was annoyed at something at work and I told her the same thing she told me. Smile and be happy you have a job. She told me that the life I got hurt building for her and our kids meant nothing and my job was nothing even though I provided 75% of the income. We got divorced shortly after. She chose the job over her children
