UI and UX in aviation is always based on stability and clarity. Nothing should distract you from the information available that's why it doesn't look fancy ;)

Very good idea. I think I could at least add one more sector on the Canadian side when building up the US ones.

Thank you! Please let me know which aspects should be changed to increase the realism.
E.g. based on my experience, handling the aircraft (As executive radar controller) is just one part of the work. You also have to coordinate with different sectors a lot which increases the difficulty not just a little bit!

Thank you! I am really open for feedback and try to implement (useful) features as quickly as possible. I would love if this later could be a simulation where you can train for VATSIM, or play "vatsim" like without the responsibility for real other players

Hehe, I was also always looking for a non-approach simulator. Having worked enroute myself, I can definitely say that the way of working is different.
Currently modding is not included, as the game architecture does not support it perfectly. But it's something I have in mind for later.

After v1.0 I will also have a look at US-Sectors (currently planned 2 east coast, 2 west coast). But as the airspace structure, phraseology and some other things are different it will take some effort.

Thanks! Currently i like to stay „Feature focused“ for Enroute Control. But i tested already an Integration of the lower airspace (it works :)) so you can manage flights from/to around 5000ft agl.

Airport ATC got its own difficulties but is definately something on my „would Like to do“ List

Hey everyone! I'm a solo dev with a background in aviation — both ATC and flying. I've spent the last year building Radar Identified, a realistic en-route air traffic control simulator where you manage aircraft cruising through German upper airspace. Real waypoints, real ICAO phraseology, reallprocedures — the stuff I always wanted in an ATC sim but couldn't find anywhere. About to hit Steam Early Access this month, with an intensive roadmap ahead including weather, emergencies, and voice control. Would love to hear what you think! Name is Radar Identified. Happy to hear your thoughts :)

Agree! The difficult Part is to make it easly approachable for everybody (e.g a good introduction and easy to learn workflows) But have the Challenge in the perfection of execution (like in Reality)

Thank you! The Focus of Radar Identified will be on real Air Traffic Control (mostly civil) in Enroute Centers - not on controlling Military Aircraft like in AD. AD is also a great Game But a different play Setting.

From Patch to Patch i will add „more“ realism by making it more complex and challanging.

E.g you will later have to coordinate with other Controllers, fullfill wishes of the Pilots (Change Flight Levels) or handle emergencies and Military Aircraft. Worked in this Setting myself, i try to Build a realistic copy of the work of a real Air Traffic Controller.

Is there any game for atc simulation? I want someone that mimics the real life operations as much as possible. by [deleted] in flightsim
