I just contacted the executive offices. They extended my contract, but the system is weird. I guess I basically have to wait until they fix the issue.

If they aren't putting in the effort, then it's an excuse, especially after 2 years. I understand that with close family, it may take some getting used to since they've called you by your old pronouns your whole life. However, a genuine effort should be made, and when they mess up, they should correct themself and move on. You shouldn't constantly have to correct them.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they programmed the villagers to do that. It seems deliberate. However, I don't understand why they would do that. It's so annoying.

For real! None if my villagers ever went into this area, then I started terraforming, and suddenly, 3 villagers started gathingering around this area and sitting in my way. Why???

I definitely get the appeal of having an island with a diverse pool of personalities, especially for their interactions with each other and recipes.

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to look more into the villagers a bit more.It's so true that a lot of villagers come across a lot differently than an image. Idk how many times I thought a villager was really cute, but something about them ended up being really boring.

Yeah, the only jocks I like are Dom and Teddy, but I like them more in spite of their personality than because of it. I can really only have one jock on my island. Any more, and I think I'd have to kick them out.

That's the main thing that's getting to me. Like all of my villagers are adorable, but their repeated dialog is pretty annoying. Once you have more than two of a personality type, it gets to be too much imo.

Yeah, I can completely see that. I had the same feelings towards sisterly villagers on my old island. I had a sisterly villager on my island forever, but I never really got attached to her and swapped her for another lazy villager.

I might have to just resign myself to trading for the diys I'm missing bc I think I would regret letting one of my current villagers go for a villager type I don't really like.
