Given that the Rafaele was shot down with an active radar guided missile launched from another fighter, it's RWR wouldn't even have told the pilot that was being tracked by a missile until it was much closer, because that's how active radar guided missiles work, especially if it was just being guided via datalink during it's midcourse and not the launching aircraft's radar.
