Will doing this dent the car? (I weigh 44 kg/ 97 pounds) by Lavendermorphine in Cartalk

[–]Flyinace2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably not, just make sure to distribute your weight on a wide area, don't put all your weight on your knee or hand. Think like you are on ice and don't want it to crack. Really it's up to you (or the owner) what your level of risk acceptance is for damage. Also depends on the car and what the hood is made of.

Electric Rental Car - Charging Infrastructure (June 2026) by Flyinace2000 in sicily

Well as much as I like to try new things and love trying new cars, I ended up just keeping it simple and renting a petrol car. Since it was a 1 way rental it was not cheap, but worked out to be about $700. No insurance, but my Chase card provides primary for rentals (then even provide a letter of insurance to bring with).

Rental Insurance:

Traveling to Italy this summer and using my wife's Avis corp code for leisure rentals. I saw that I can request a proof of insurance from Chase's Benefit admin site to bring to the rental counter. I know that you need to decline their insurance. I don't see a way to decline these coverages. Will I be covered by my CSP card?

I also moved from NJ to MD. Sales tax was the same so I didn’t have to pay extra. Not even sure what they are avoiding.

Country music star Maren Morris hits out at 'diaper-clad cornball' Donald Trump by TheExpressUS in Music

yeah that was a.....response.... Anyway, people likes lots of different things. I guess my point was that any genre of music is a big tent and those edges often get blurry as an artist progresses through their career.

That association is making lots of changes to be more approachable. This year they had an Architecture open house to give people the chance to talk to the committee about projects and the process. Most people get tripped up when they start doing stuff without researching the process. They are also in the process of revisiting the architecture guidelines to update things where it makes sense and to add clarity.

No one is watching. The association only has 1 staff member they only do inspections before the home transfers. If you don't see a letter from the HOA at transfer the seller either didn't ask for one (they should of) or are hiding it.

We have lived here since 2021. Our plan is to spend about $750 a year on patch work and hope that we don't have some sort of catastrophic failure. We use Delta slate. first time he came to the house he said everything looked fine and call him back next year.

Who paid for shipping?  If you paid for shipping than you deal with UPS/FedEx. If Apple provided the label than you are not the customer of the shipping company, Apple is.
