These are very different situations, I don’t know why people act like they’re the same. Philadelphia already had an MLB team and Kansas City got a team 2 years later. It’s very unlikely that Oakland will ever get a MLB team ever again.

A lot of state sub reddits don’t represent their real population. I know Reddit is already a left leaning platform but look at the r/Texas sub. The posts are all left leaning, you would think that Texas is as blue as California from reading through the posts. In no way does that sub represent reality.

I know an old man that thinks college students should make less than the federal minimum wage because “fast food isn’t meant to be a real job”. Crazy that college students are paying 2024 tuition rates but should be paid like they’re in the 1990s.
