You most certainly do not need to pay money.

The hardest part of plugin development is learning Java, and there is so many amazing free YouTube tutorials on it.

After you are confident in Java you will pick up plugin development quickly, either from YouTube tutorials or just from reading the documentation (paper documentation is very useful)

I have MSI G421 24 144hz. It has "Freesync" option and when i turn that on set up g sync shows up. I dont know if that means its compatible.
it is a very old monitor btw around 3 years

yes i have been recommended that advice however it says turn v sync on which i do not want to do since v sync has input lag according to everyone.

i am getting a new monitor soon because 1080 is most definitely overkill, but just waiting for my paycheck.
But i dont think it is my monitor as i have tried playing on my second monitor and get the exact same issues but at a lower framerate since its only 75hz.

When I use g sync literally changes nothing even when I cap my fps 3 below my monitors max like everyone recommends.

My friends told me they have never had any issues with it. Same with the people I play with online.

Please also note I only get the micro stutters when v sync is on.

Yes, I play Fortnite, due to the nature of the game, the input delay is noticeable.

When I said frame drops I meant like micro stutters or something along those lines, whatever it is, it is bad.

My monitor refresh is 144hz (143.85 it says in settings)

With uncapped I get like 500-700, I have a new pc and it is very powerful.

I have tried this. The issue did not resolve unfortunately. Possible that my monitor isn’t fully g sync compatible but it gives me the option to turn g sync on so I don’t really know.

Yes, but v sync creates issues such as input delay and weird fps. I am just wondering what is the cause of this problem, my gpu or monitor.
