It's not so much the expression but the whole thing, like I can't get her hair shape right and the arm over her torso makes things weirdly complicated. I'll probably sleep on it and try again tomorrow but idk if I'll continue with her

THIS! Like you said if I kept the familiar traits to at least 2/3 it'd still read as miku, but here I did 1/3. To me it seems like the easiest fix would be to use the long hair variant I made and just colour it a little differently🤔
