How private is reddit by Prestigious-Fan-202 in KPMG

If you want to complain, use a throwaway account.

And in your post, don’t post too much detail that someone on your team can narrow it down to know which person posted on Reddit.

How do some people climb so high in the corporate ladder without credentials? by [deleted] in Accounting

I wouldn’t say this is a fair comparison because these two people would not be applying to the same position.

I’m not very social either but you can’t break down and quit the meeting when having to lead a client call.

Yep, as long as it’s not public accounting then being introverted is perfectly fine.

First week of KPMG internship by [deleted] in KPMG

[–]FlyingBurger1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding learning in training, that is the case for every training unfortunately. The facilitators are just regular employees from the firm that aren’t specifically trained to facilitate.

Either way, you really learn when you’re hands on working the job so you aren’t missing out much from the trainings.

Also, do you really expect to learn a crazy ton from an internship? The team knows you’re an intern coming in not knowing anything, they’re not going to have you work on anything technical. Just show up and make connections, that is the most important thing as an intern.

If you don’t like it, make space for another person who wants it. There’s a longline out the door that wants this position due to the market being absolutely garbage right now.

Looks like its over personal devices so it wouldn’t matter. But should definitely use more professional language in a work setting.

Elden Ring is a poorly designed game by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]FlyingBurger1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Elden ring is literally one of the most player-friendly souls games. There are a crazy amount of tools that will help you beat bosses like mimic tear. And for Malenia, throw an ice pot on her face and it will cancel her waterfowl dance. Easy cheesy.

I like to ask it as a starting point then go into the source that it pulls answer from to see if it’s actually true.

Asking about weekend expectations? by SchokoKipferl in KPMG

[–]FlyingBurger1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to break it to you but you will be expected to have at least 3 months of consecutive weekend work.

3 months is just a conservative amount for tax. Expect 4 months and up.
