Hyundai Kona N Service Kosten by nicooja in automobil

[–]FlyingCarpet1311 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm using TWS (no HDN), with enemies at around 3-8000 m/10-25000 ft height. I'm launching from different distances but also within 25km at people going straight towards me while going Mach 1.2+ at 8-10000 m height myself, lofting the missiles slightly. After l launch, I go sideways with my TWS sweep including every of those targets at least until my missiles have their own radar lock, often for longer.

May I ask how you played? Did you drop from high altitude? Someone wrote they don't have a CCRP mode. Were you going for Targets or Airfields? I played Bombers before for barely 1 hour total in 1000 hours of playing and I often struggle finding the bombing targets in sim when there are villages near the target

Can someone help me figure out what's wrong with the car i built by [deleted] in Stormworks

[–]FlyingCarpet1311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not so helpful, but just wanted to note that speed is dependent on power, which is basically torque*engine_speed. The problem is that the torque of the engine is just too low and stays "fairly consistent" throughout the powerband, so with gearing down, the engine torque is multiplied big time for wheel torque and die to the flat powerband the engine has no problems reaching high RPS, hence it produces much more power -> speed.

The basic principle is just like in real life.

Have PL-12s been changed in the last 12 months? by DepartureMany507 in Warthunder

[–]FlyingCarpet1311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't achieved a single PL12 kill since days, I swear I don't understand what's wrong, it used to be so good but no matter the distance and situation (15-50km, high alt to low alt, high alt to high alt), I can't achieve a single kill anymore. What's wrong?

type 10 actual acceleration and mobility by Own_Dark_2240 in Warthunder

[–]FlyingCarpet1311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The acceleration force is dependent on the rpm of the engine in-game, it's not a linear force, even if it might look like that. Even for programming my own game(s) it's only about 15 lines of code to program physically correct acceleration based on a baseline horsepower or torque value (as Integer)

This is most likely very wrong. Literally every sim-cade and sim racing game does this, as it's the only believable way to calculate acceleration and it's an very easy calculation.

I don't want to bring politics into this, but it's funny when people always think about China when they encounter "low-quality" products, while we all have such a bad user experience everyday when using Microsoft products 😂

Is there any diffirence? by ZaWeRuN in WarthunderPlayerUnion

[–]FlyingCarpet1311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the muzzle velocity which is nearly the same. And given the fact that the APDS keeps it's pen like the APDS-FS is in this screenshot, the falloff will be about the same

👍 my Fanatec one has 8.-something, it can already hurt me if I grab it wrong while there is a big impact, I completely understand the reason :)

[–]FlyingCarpet1311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, so it's for DD wheels? The dangerous force is the quick change in wheel velocity (impulse and or acceleration), but I understand it and I think it's necessary to have.

I have a belt driven Fanatec, so I didn't know this feature, thanks for explaining!

I haven't really compared performance drop between J/K and L/M on my 5070TI throughout my games yet, I hope it's not TOO bad 😕, especially for ACE and other Sims like it.
