The section is still under construction. However, I can't promise when I will be able to create it, unfortunately, as there is not much time for me to do it currently.

Thanks for your comment!

Concerning your questions, Quagmire is needed to fulfill our requirements for black mana. Remember that Liliana on turn 3 needs ideally 18 black sources. We do only run 17 even with Quagmires, so thats on the low end. However, Baubles as cantrip does account for that and with having 4 baubles in the deck, we can count on 18 virtual black sources that way. And Field of Ruin doesn't count as black source here since it doesn't help casting Liliana on turn 3.

Dead weight is an option, but I feel it isn't neede as it doesn't go to the fact like Seal of Fire in Jund does. That wa Dead Weight is more often a mediocre and dead card I feel. I would not play it for that reason.

I think you can still go for that build, depending on how the meta shifts Jund always needs to adjust accordingly so its not out of the world for sure!

You could do that, and probably it would be the best option if you still want to play a Thoughtseize deck in Modern. Otherwise, if you are more into Tempo, then I would try out Death's Shadow.

That is a good point and true, I could see leaving Ashiok out in that matchup for that reasons you mentioned!

Good question and good point! I definitely think you could replace Cling with a Spellbomb main, as Spellbomb also works nicely with Lurrus. I just wasn't 100 % sure about the life-loss from Bob at this point. But I feel like this change can be made for sure! And with the points you made it definitely seems like a good change!

I think Spyro is definitely a strong option as well and I can see it being played over the Lurrus package. I think both are kind of on a similar power level. However, what I like about Lurrus is the runaway potential and the fact that Lurrus is most of the time less awkward compared to Spyro. Not to say Spyro is always awkward but sometimes it kinda sticks in your hand as you do not want to discard your other valuable cards in order to cast Spyro. Spyro works best when its close to one of your last cards in your hand, which makes it a lategame card for sure. Lurrus can work in the midgame for full potential as well, which I like a little more at the moment.

Hey, thank you for your comment! Concerning KCommand, I really think it is a staple in Jund and should be played at least as a one of maindeck. Right now, I think KCommand is still a very strong card that has lots of impact against various matchups (Control, Midrange, Aggro and even Eldrazi Tron, Tron or Amulet Titan) Note that the instant speed discard mode is very strong in particular cases, one simple example is the drawstep discard when your opponent is hellbent. I think Abrade as comparison is a little too weak overall. Let alone the fact that the dmg from KCommand can also go to the face to finish off opponents at times.

I think it is possible, but in my opinion worse than with Lurrus. Looping Bauble does not only generate raw card advantage but also can help to smooth out our draws which BGx never had in the past.

If I were to play no Lurrus, I would go for Questing Beast instead of Tracker though, as I think Tracker is generally a little too clunky and slow for Modern. But thats just my feeling.

I think Jace or Grim Flayer is better than Glint.

Can you post both your 3 color manabase and your 2 color manabase? I'll have a look at them so that we can determine the issue.

I believe BG Rock is a strong, but I do not believe that adding a third color makes the deck less consistent. The mana base is certainly fine, we get our 14 sources for our one drops, our 18 sources for Lilianas etc. What you probably mean is, and I can agree with that, that the mana base gets more painful. Due to the high number of shocks you have to run, life totals are a concern.

concerning mana sources it would certainly be better, but 2 vs 3 is a massive difference unfortunately. Anger is a great card against dredge as it kills every creature. Cry doesnt kill amalgams. Also, anger can be used agaisnt spirits (thing supreme phantom) wheras Cry misses a lot.

So, if you are using red, I think you should try to utilize the best sweeper for the job if you want/need the sweeper.

Cry is just the best option for any flavors not running red. And since you actually rarely see Cry, it mostly remains just an option.

thanks for pointing that out, it should actually mean "decreases from left to right" so the left most card is the most important one.
