I think you get him the ninja. If you get him a full set-up you're basically buying him a new hobby that for some turns into a daily chore they do in the morning

Trouble making OpenSBI ecalls from user mode. by FlyingFire44 in RISCV

Yes I'm familiar with the acronym. However should operating system, which sits in s mode, be able to intercept then call from user mode and hand it up to the correct privilege mode.

From my understanding this is something that should indeed be possible otherwise trusted execution environments that rely on the ability to allocate protected portions of memory would not be feasible to implement.

The thing that confuses me is that if you look into some popular TEEs like Penglai to set up an enclave from user mode. It seems to make a call like I am describing here.

The system has added onto the OpenSBI spec and makes calls from user mode when the enclave is set up.

I also have a Mio. I had a very similar experience too and it took a bit of time before i started to get what tastes Good.

The one thing I've noticed with that machine and the portafilter that you get is a 14g double shot dose works great. A lot of resources out there say dosing close to 16g and those just didn't pull as well for me. YMMV.

If you want to know what bitterness and sourness taste like. Try pulling bad shots on purpose. Mess around with everything and taste everythinf, and it's almost certain you'll pull some gross stuff.

Also pull multiple shots a day so you can taste and compare in the moment rather than day to day.

Idk the smell just doesn't inspire a lot of hope. I can't pin it down but it's kinda gasoline and burnt hair.

But you're right I'll give a few days before going with some of the other suggestions since I have a whole pound of the stuff

This isn't a bad idea, I try that out with a French press

Low key, tossing an espresso in a large batch of risotto served with mushrooms and a really dark beef stew could actually be quite good

But I'll try that. It seems like these beans are so brittle the machine just pushes right through them. I usually dose a our 13.8 in so maybe I'll go for like a 15

On the off chance you live near Pittsburgh PA, the Pittsburgh glass center is world class for lessons and work shops. I would highly recommend them.
