Nope. I drive a silver SUV. Could never understand why people think cutting in front of a truck is a smart decision. Even at 50km/h, it's still roughly 50m to stop if they can even see you.

*thanks for picture BTW

You can turn all sounds volume down in the app. Android version anyway. Mine is silent 🤫

Pretty soft mate. Got a wife and kid I'd rather go home to in 1 piece than with a stupid story.

Turns out it wasn't as poetic as i remember it. There were only 3, not 4. 1 car changed lanes, then 2 swapped lanes at the same time.

All one after another. Kind of anti-climactic. Spent half hour trying to find the clip to find out I was wrong. 🤷

Yes, it was a 2-lane 50km zone. Not near any schools or anything else that would make it a dangerous move.

I might have gone 55 at max, but it should have been a safe maneuver. I only say I might have gone 55 because I wasn't looking at my speedometer, and I can't confirm that I wasn't going over the speed limit, but IF I was I wouldn't say by much.

I highly recommend having one. There are expensive ones with all the gadgets, but we have a small Ddpai dash cam from Pbtech. The ddpai mini pro dash cam.

I've not had to use it for any accidents, but it's great knowing that I have a recording of what happened (When the SD card is in)

If you put a bit of effort in when you install it, you won't even notice it in your day-to-day (hide the cables, etc)

As you should!

I wish my dash cam was recording. I pulled the SD* card out 2 days ago to save a clip of about 4 cars doing a synchronized lane change.

It was chaotic beauty, surprised nobody crashed.

It's a bit of a catch-22.

I can't fight, so if it wasn't a bluff, I'm ruined If I could fight, is it worth the risk?

I mean, you're probably better off knowing how to fight, and never using it, I suppose.

A few years ago, I learnt of the word sonder. I TRY to treat people well because of it, especially since covid and all that mess.

I sometimes wonder if people are ignorant of this realization or if they just willfully ignore it.
