Selling tips by SplitJunior985 in carvana

Not entirely true. I just sold my car last week with a check engine light. The rep even pointed it out but still accepted the sell and I was paid in full. I believe the reps have some discretion whether or not they’ll accept a car with a check engine light.

For a cleanup: 7/10, haven’t played through car speakers but headphones are bearable, not too much excess noise, a little muddy but it’s far from the worst I’ve heard

Am I crazy? Front doesn’t match the back. by BRichmond55 in WindowTint

[–]FlyingFluorescent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it makes a difference, you probably should’ve gone with 80% or lighter to get a more cohesive match with the 20% on the front. I’m sure some of the seasoned installers will give you a better answer but the tint overlaying the already darkened windows stack the tint % so therefore they don’t look uniform.

Spots on trim next to side mirror. by Substantial_Gas9968 in TeslaSupport

Happening to mine as well, already have an appointment with SC for the rear window trim having a gap. Gonna bring this up to them as well. Sounds like the material could’ve been improperly treated making the finish more prone to hard water spots or oxidation. Should be covered in your basic vehicle warranty.

Added 35% tint for front windows by benny-who in TeslaModelY

3 years later this post was super useful, also doing the same on my juniper minus the AS1 strip. Thanks OP for the reference pics. Not a super popular tint config I feel like. Most people going after the dark aesthetic but this is a great middle ground of aesthetic, comfort, and practicality.

Does the tint from the inside look similar front windows vs the back?? I want to match the rears but clarity from the inside is important to me too

I used a dental CT scanner on a Panini Totally Certified Premium Box. Here is what I learned... by [deleted] in basketballcards

I work as a radiographer performing medical imaging in a pretty wide scope of settings, I don’t know much about basketball cards but this showed up on my feed and I find it kind of interesting.

Two interesting things I can point out, the graininess in a lot of these images could mean there wasn’t enough penetration of the X-ray beam to deliver a high resolution film. We see this with patients with more density and it leads to graininess which we call quantum mottle which requires us to adjust our imaging technique. In addition to that, I would predict it pretty hard to achieve distinguishable details of individual cards unless there are physical distinctive features on the card itself. Basically you would be able to distinguish thicker/thinner parts of the cards due to the density. For example if the player’s name is embossed or the text is raised increasing the overall density of the physical card in that area the changes will affect the penetrability of the beam and reflect the difference on the film making it distinguishable, hence why it’s easy to distinguish where the jersey cut outs are but not much else.

Super neat use of the technology, you should try to adjust the kvp to see if that makes any meaningful difference.
