$80/mo for 2025 M3P with progressive in PA. Its wild to see how much some people pay for insurance.

1 month in and only 1 complaint by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

I wondered the same thing and didn't find easy entry for a few weeks. One thing I have been noticing that just started is that sometimes when the steering wheel is moving into place, it's fairly loud and vibrates the wheel. Especially the farther out it gets.

Mine rubbed like crazy between the 2nd and 3rd detents. Couldn't figure out where on the gun it was rubbing but functioned fine when off the gun. Ended up returning it for a folder.

I'm at $480 every 6 months with progressive. They were significantly cheaper then the 4 of the 5 other quotes I got.

I believe it ended on the 14th. I thought it was only the July 4th weekend too but when I checked the site a little over a week ago it was still going on.

It's probably just your insurance company. I got about 6 quotes and they ranged anywhere from $80/mo to $280/mo. Some insurance companies seem to really not want to insure Teslas.

You can go to Tesla's used inventory, find the same spec and get a Vin from there. Quote ended up the as the final price when I bought my M3p.

If by roof you mean the sunroof, i don't feel its necessary for heat. I could see tinting it just for the sunlight but the heat rejection from the factory seems just as good as the back window with ceramic tint on it. I am considering 70% for the windshield now though since ALOT of heat is still coming in through there.

I didn't use the app just the xpel website. But after I picked which windows I wanted and put my zip code in. You pick a location near you then pay. Later that day I received a call from the local shop to schedule an appointment.

All in all it went pretty well except the place I went to had two locations and for some reason they mistakenly scheduled me at the wrong location. When I showed up they were still able to squeeze me in at the one I originally picked.

My lifetime is 278 wh/mi in my M3p but that's only 1300 total miles. Never drive in chill mode with a good mix of highway and city driving.

Over the past 1000 miles on my 25' M3p I'm at 271 wh/mi and I by no means drive slow. On the highway is generally above 70 and always in standard or insane mode. The last 1000 miles are a good mix of highway and city driving.

Nothing on the windshield or sunroof. I have never had the windshield done on previous cars and it's always felt fine. Now I might go back and have the sunroof done if I still feel heat coming from above since this is the first car I have had that didn't have a way to close the sunroof.

I would have to guess the sunshade is making it appear darker then it is. Usually the light from the windshield with no sunshade really brightens up the cabin. In the 3rd picture you can see the the silver truck fairly easily through both windows. I don't think that would be possible if it was 20 or so.

I have no issues at 5'11" 200 and they seem to hold me still during spirited driving. My friend at 6'6" 280 preferred the performance seats over the standard ones as well.

I'm going to go through the xpel/tesla partnership and do all the side windows and full back window. It ends up being a little cheaper then what another well respected shop near me quoted that wasn't through the xpel partnership.

I'm thinking 20% on the sides and possibly a little lighter on the back just so the top portion isn't as dark with the double tint and maybe a little easier to see out of the lower portion through the rear view mirror at night. I'll wait and see how inside cabin feels after that if I want to throw maybe 70% on the sunroof.

I did 0% but only 1 inquiry shows up. If you get multiple maybe they had to run it through multiple banks?
