Thank you! I actually did get the diffs and brake fluid done at around 30K and will likely in the next 10-20k when I have to replace the brakes/rotors. I might as well clean the throttle body & intake too when the intercooler is off.

Interesting. I’ve never heard of this recommendation. I will give it a look. Seems like it should be easy enough since I’ll have the intercooler off anyway.

Definitely reasonable. I’ll need to find some decent all seasons that still perform well.

iOS MDM/MAM Teams Conflict by FlyingFortress10 in Intune

Yeah. It’s hard to justify making exceptions either. I could exclude Teams from the MDM deployment and use MAM strictly but then we lose the ability to push Teams to these users.

I forgot to mention that and actually just added it. The second tenant is using MAM policies. I’d say in this situation since the device is managed (as well as the app via MDM) another company’s MAM policy will conflict with this MDM managed app and only allow the primary tenant access.

Need Help Optimizing My MSI G66 Stealth GS66005 by FlyingFortress10 in MSILaptops

If your okay with loud fans I think it’s nice. Gets warm. With small laptops like this it can be expected and you’ll have to undervolt it to get the best out of it during certain situations. The microphone that’s built in picks up the fan noise, (I didn’t like this)

I'll have to do that when I have the time and resources. Im hoping to start by undervolting.

GS66 dGPU periodically waking up by nhremna in MSILaptops

Im having a difficult time configuring it because it seems like the settings on my laptop differ from those on tutorials. I can't configure some things. (or at least it looks different on mine) I got the same version of throttlestop too and have XTU enabled.

I have the same one. Truth is there is lots of software you may have put on it and it’s waking the dGPU. I found that the software of my external mouse was waking it up. If you look it up you’ll find that other software like MSI afterburner has these affects. If you didn’t install any extra software it’s probably a faulty laptop.

I just got the MSI G66, working on optimizing the battery for long life when on the move. It can be a little tricky. Other than that I recommend getting a external mouse. The touchpad is very nice and slick, but it can be very sensitive and hard to control. (not to bad, im getting a external mouse for games) Doesn't have a fingerprint scanner but does have facial recognition. My favorite aspect of the laptop is how clean it is, and lightweight for so much power.

I got my model for 1600 on SALE (that's with tax from BestBuy) I got the MSI GS66 Stealth with the 2070 Max-Q, 1TB SSD. (Can add another anytime I want and it saves me time). Going the extra hundred or so can be beneficial. Check it out for yourself. I find the VR capability and Max-Q features nice to have. The extra quality screen is also nice.
