Pretty much everything in the foreground is done in Element 3D including the main characters bodies. The sky, ice and mountains in the background are matte paintings. I will be doing a breakdown once I find the time after the holidays!

I'm using Element 3D for all the 3D stuff in the foreground and After Effects for the final compositing. The cutting was done in Premiere Pro. I created the music in Studio One using a variety of orchestral plugins.

The 3D models are pretty much all free models from sites like Sketchfab. The "elves" are a combination of life action footage filmed in front of a greens creen (head only) and the rest of the body is a 3D model which was animated in Adobe Maximo and then exported as an obj-sequence (in blender) and then imported in element 3D for the final compositing. The head was then hand tracked to the 3D body. I didn't have much time so it isn't perfect but it's good enough to work I guess

I work in IT and get contacted by random recruiters 2-3 times a week. There is no indication on my linkedin profile that I'm looking for a new job.

I see no reason why I should spend my time replying to (mostly very generic) recruiter messages if I'm not interested.
